Message:

We have received a report that approximately ten sheep have been shot with a rifle.

The location was an isolated field on the Culworth to Chipping Warden Road and occurred overnight between the 29 and 30 June.

All the sheep were shot in the neck indicating the possible intention to steal the carcasses. As far as we are aware this is an isolated incident but please consider making more regular checks on your livestock in the shorter term.

Report any suspicious persons or vehicles seen on or near your land by ringing 03000 111 222 or 999 if a crime is in progress.  Calls can also made to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
