The Rotary Club of Towcester

is very pleased to present

The Cwmbach Male Voice Choir

 

Following last year’s very successful concert, The Rotary Club of Towcester have booked The Cwmbach Male Voice Choir to perform again in St. Lawrence Church, Towcester on April 2nd 2011. Doors open at 6:30pm. The concert will start at 7pm.

 

The 70-strong choir includes a Music Director, manager, accompanist and soloist. On average they perform 2/3 concerts per month throughout the year both in the UK, Ireland and much further afield. With a wide repertoire covering church, traditional and popular music, they are also famous for being the first Welsh Choir to sing behind the Iron Curtain.

  

Tickets for the next performance, on April 2nd are available from Colemans Stationers, in Towcester, or from The Rotary Club of Towcester by calling Peter Brearley on (01327) 858277. All tickets are priced at £15 and are expected to be in high demand. The price includes a glass of wine during the interval.

Last year's concert raised enough funds to renovate and equip two play therapy rooms for KidsAid  This year’s concert will raise funds to support local people with Alzheimer's/dementia.

The Rotary Club of Towcester meets most Thursday nights throughout the year at the Saracens Head Hotel, Towcester.
