You’ve read the novel, you’ve watched the movie (with James Caan and Kathy Bates), now see the stage play.
Adapted from Stephen King’s award winning novel by Simon Moore, (writer of acclaimed movie ‘Traffik’), Misery is a dark and twisting tale which enthrals the audience from the very beginning to its climactic and unexpected end.
Popular romance novelist Paul Sheldon retires to Colorado to write the final work in a successful series featuring his heroine Misery Chastain. Driving while inebriated, he loses control of his car. He regains consciousness in a dilapidated farmhouse that is cut off from the outside world by a blizzard. His legs crushed, he can only rely on the woman who saved him, Annie, his number one fan.
In this stunning adaptation of Stephen King’s classic thriller, Simon Moore creates a tour de force which keeps audiences glued to their seats not knowing which way the story will twist next.
