Have your say over future parking in South Northamptonshire
Residents across the district are being urged to complete a parking survey to assess the long-term parking needs of South Northamptonshire.
South Northamptonshire Council (SNC) has commissioned WYG to carry out the survey which forms the second phase of the parking study.
More than 500 people took part in the phase one of the survey which was completed in July 2015.
In addition to the latest online survey, representatives from resident and community groups, local businesses, and district and town councillors are due to take part in workshops during October to input their thoughts on the issues.
Cllr Stephen Clarke, portfolio holder for economic development, regeneration and Housing, said: “The District is seeing new house building and the creation of new employment sites in a number of locations and it is important that we ensure that provision of parking is considered carefully to coincide with the planned growth of the district.
“I would urge people to take the time to complete that survey so that the views of residents and businesses are fully represented.”
The survey will be live between Monday, 14 September and Sunday, 25 October.
It is expected that phase two will be completed by December 2015.
A link to the phase two survey can be found on the front page of SNC’s website at www.southnorthants.gov.uk.
Paper copies of the survey are available on request by calling 01327 322368 or emailing email@example.com.
