Yet another chance to join walkers for ‘Over and Under the Hill’ an exciting heritage boat and walk event.

The event takes place at 5 pm on Saturday 29th July 2017. Join a boat trip through the historic 200 year old Blisworth Canal Tunnel on trip boat NB Charlie with a commentary about how it was built, its features and history, then walk back over the top of Blisworth Hill to Stoke Bruerne with walks guides who will point out features of interest relating to the canal and its construction along the way.

The walk distance is about two miles and duration is 2 hours. Suitable clothing and stout footwear are recommended. Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

The cost of the event is £6 for adults and £4 for children. Advance booking is required via Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum, telephone 01604 862229 or email canal.museum@canalrivertrust.org.uk as the capacity on NB Charlie is limited.

The boat and walk is being organised by Stoke Bruerne Canal Partnership in conjunction with Stoke Bruerne Boat Company, The Canal Museum and the Canal and River Trust.
