8.45am         Benefice Breakfast at Wappenham Village Hall

9.30am         Sung Procession to St. Mary the Virgin, Wappenham1st part of Christ’s Passion

10.15am       Sung Procession - St. Mary Magdalene, Helmdon – 2nd part of Christ’s Passion

11.15am       Sung Procession - St. James the Great, Syresham – final part of Christ’s Passion

 

Monday, 10 April               – Sacred Space – walking the way to the Cross.

7.30pm         St. Mary & St. Peter, Lois Weeden

 

Tuesday, 11 April              – Viewing of the Film:  ‘The Passion of Christ’

7.30pm         St. Mary Magdalene, Helmdon

 

Wednesday, 12 April – Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion

10.00am       St Mary the Virgin, Wappenham

 

Wednesday 12 April  – Taize for Holy Week

7.30pm         St. John the Evangelist, Whitfield

 

Thursday 13 April            – Maundy Thursday  - Stripping of the altars and Prayer Vigil

8.00am         St. John the Evangelist, Whitfield

2.00pm         St. Mary & St. Peter, Lois Weedon

 

Thursday 13 April            – Passover Seder and Maundy Thursday Last Supper Communion

6.30pm         St. James the Great, Syresham  -  traditional Passover Seder celebration, hand washing ceremony, following ancient traditions associated with this mean, telling of the first Passover in Egypt, reflecting the Lord’s own Passover Supper, sharing a community meal followed by Communion together at table.

-  Followed by stripping of the altars and Prayer Vigil

Friday 14 April – Good Friday   The Stations of the Cross

Noon              Syresham Chapel, and Walk of Witness

2.00pm         St. Mary the Virgin, Wappenham

Sunday 16 April – Easter Day – Easter Fire

5.45am         St. Lawrence, Radstone  -  lighting of the Easter fire as dawn breaks representing the light returning to the world in the form of the Resurrected Christ.  The early morning “light” will be brought to each church in turn.
