Village Notice Board



The present Parish Clerk is retiring at the end of November and a replacement is required.

Interested persons should apply to the Chairman of the
Council giving their name, and previous experience
by the 31st October.

The duties include attending evening meetings of the Council (six per year), taking the minutes of the meetings and circulating them to the members of the Council, receiving and dealing with correspondence received from various local and national authorities and other interested bodies and reporting
it to the Council, keeping the financial records of the Council and reporting on them to the Council and keeping all the relevant records in connection with the regulatory matters appertaining to the affairs and membership of the Parish Council.

The position carries a salary and the Council provides a computer together with all the necessary documents,stationary and expenses required to carry out the duties. Applications, in the first instance, should be sent to :
