Send a Message
Amnesty International Greeting Card Campaign - Friday 10th December from 7.30 pm 25 Church Street, Helmdon
Send a few cards that could really make a difference this Christmas.
Sending a card with a simple, personal greeting is a powerful way to show support for people facing human rights abuse. Every year Amnesty International run a greeting card campaign, these messages of friendship and solidarity can give strength, hope and encouragement to the recipients, showing them that they are not alone.
Drop in on Friday evening to sign a few greetings cards, there will be case histories for each recipient so that you understand their situation. Donations will be collected to help cover the postage costs with any extra money given as a donation to Amnesty International.
There will be mulled wine and a few mince pies, drop in anytime from 7.30 pm for 10 minutes or longer if you get really enthused! I will provide cards but please bring a few of your own too, both religious and non religious themes will be needed.
If you can’t come on Friday you could always go to the AI website and add a couple to your own Christmas card list www.amnesty.org.uk/gcc
We hope to see a few of you.
