Astronomy for Beginners

An adult education course in Helmdon with tutor Frank Gear. Tuesday evenings for 10-weeks.

This course will answer many questions asked by those who have an interest in astronomy.

What is a star?  How to do I find constellations? What equipment do I need?

A course to fire the imagination!

Course Dates: This ten-week course starts Tuesday 21 September 2010
at 7:30pm at The Reading Room, Helmdon. Each meeting is 1½ hours.

Registration: At The Reading Room, Church Street, Helmdon NN13 5QJ
7:15pm - 7:30pm on Tuesday 21 September.
   Venue accessible to wheelchairs and hearing loop is installed.
   All adults welcome - no qualifications are required to join any course.
Full Fee: £48.75 (payable on second week).

Discounted fee: £43.90 (payable on second week) if attending two or more courses at the same time.No course fee payable: If receiving Jobseeker's Allowance; Income Support or certain other benefits. Please ask for a full list.ou may qualify for help with fees and other expenses if gross annual household income less than £15,276 (figure subject to change).
