Northamptonshire Casualty Reduction Partnership has teamed up with BSM to provide 120 FREE Pass Plus courses worth £180 each to young people living in the South Northants/ Daventry area as part of a Department for Transport funded trial project aimed at reducing road casualties in rural areas.
Pass Plus consists of six modules about driving in different conditions aimed at improving the skill and knowledge of newly qualified young drivers. There is no test at the end, but if successfully completed, the student will be issued with a certificate and eligible for insurance discounts with some insurers.
Applicants must live in the NN11, NN12, NN13, OX17 or MK19 areas, be aged 17 -25 years old, have passed their driving test within the last 18 months and hold a current valid UK driving licence.
