Vivamus To Visit Village

The highly acclaimed London-based choir Vivamus is holding an open air concert in Helmdon.

It will take place tomorrow, Saturday, July 5th, at 7.30pm.

Vivamus stormed onto the London choral scene last year and their 2003/4 programme includes performances at St Paul's Cathedral, the National Portrait Gallery and the Royal Festival Hall.

This is a rare opportunity to hear 35 breathtaking voices in relaxed local surroundings.

In a departure from their classical repertoire, Vivamus will present a summer's evening of choral jazz in the beautiful gardens of Glebe Farm.

Tickets are just £12 and include a free glass of wine on arrival.

Take a picnic. Drinks will be available.

The event has been sponsored by David Mason and all proceeds will go to the restoration of historic local churches.

To book, call Jane on (01295) 760396, or Chris on 760523 or Vanessa on 760477.
