175 Mile Run
A single marathon is more than enough for most people but
Dave Bailey from Helmdon plans to run six in as many days.
The 30-year-old who lives in Station Road will take part in
the Marathon in Nottingham starting on Sunday September 7th.
His efforts will raise cash for Cancer Research UK and
he has specifically requested it is spent on breast cancer
"We all know at least one person who has suffered from
cancer", he said. "Unfortunately I know a few

this reason he pledged to fight the disease through fundraising.
He surfed the net looking for an extreme event to take part
in as he wanted to challenge himself.
He added: "If all goes to plan the beginning of September

Dave works for Heygates in Northampton and the company has
agreed to sponsor his efforts and provide bread for all the
