The Annual General Meeting of the Helmdon 200 Club will be held on Tuesday 12th September 2017 at 8.00pm in The Bell.
Anyone interested in seeing how the village's monthly lottery is run would be most welcome. We shall be noting a seventh successful year of raising funds for the maintenance of the Church and the Reading Room as well as distributing cash prizes to the lucky winners. Also we shall be considering increasing the prizes for our next year, which starts in November.

Annual General Meeting
The AGM of the 200 Club will be held on
Tuesday 6th September
2016 at 8.00 pm in the Bell
1. To approve the minutes of the AGM held on 9th September 2015.
2. To receive a report from the Chairman.
3. Reports on income and expenditure :
- to adopt the accounts for 2014/15
- to consider the draft accounts for 2015/16.
4. Election of Officers and Committee members.
5. To hold the draw for those eligible, who have never won a prize.
6. To consider : whether to hold a similar draw next year.
7. To set the subscription rate for 2016/7.
8. To consider a new rule proposed by 2 members , that the winner of the £100
prize in any month will not be eligible for the draw in the following month
9. To consider the arrangements for the recruitment of members for 2016/17
10. Any Other Business

Reduced Memberships - posted 04 March 2015
There are two memberships still available. Since one third of the 200 Club year has passed they are available at just £15 each.

A New Year: Time To Join The Helmdon 200 Club - posted 20 October 2013
By the end of the current 200 Club year, we will have paid out £2,280 in prizes and will have donated £1,300 each to the Friends of the Church and the Reading Room.
The current year ends with the final draw on the 27th October. The committee has agreed to repeat the scheme for a further year commencing with the first draw at the end of November 2013. We are now inviting existing member to renew their membership by 31 October 2013 (committee members will be calling on you).
NEW THIS YEAR. A Bonus Draw will be held in early September 2014 with 5 prizes of £10 each: those eligible for this draw will be only those members who have been a member since the 200 Club started AND who have never won a prize up to and including the August Draw 2014.

Philippa Lloyd (last month's winner) drew the winning ticket for the last 'double draw' 200 Club winner on 23rd October.
There are just a few memberships remaining, so do please contact one of the committee as soon as possible to obtain one.
As already announced the prize distribution will be different from November 2011 in that the 'double draw' has been removed and the number of prizes has been increased from four to five each month, so that everybody will have more opportunities to win.

By the end of October the 200 Club will have paid out 48 prizes worth, in total, £2,275. The current year ends with the final draw on the 23rd of October. The committee has agreed to repeat the scheme for a further year commencing with the first draw at the end of November 2011. The monthly draw is slightly changed. We have removed the ‘double draw’ at the end of the year and have increased the number of prizes from four to five each month, so that everybody will have more opportunities to win.

Annual General Meeting Decisions - posted 12 September 2011
At the AGM of the 200 Club on 5th September, the current Officers of the Helmdon 200 Club, and the current Committee members were re-elected.
There is a vacancy for a Minutes Secretary.
It was agreed to amend Rule 7, so that there will be 5 prizes each month ie 60 prizes per annum, instead of the 48 per annum at present.
It was agreed to change the time of the monthly draw slightly - to 1 pm - instead of 12 noon. This is because the Committee would like more members to be present at the monthly draw. The draws will continue to be on the fourth Sunday of each month, in the Bell.
Members of the Club will be invited to renew their memberships shortly, as the next membership year starts on 1st November.

Applications Have Gone Well - posted 2 November 2010
The application for membership of The 200 Club has gone very well. We are now into the last few weeks before our first monthly draw. There are still a few places to be filled, so to avoid being disappointed get your application forms from one of the committee, or download from our website and pass it to a committee member.
The First Draw will be on the fourth Sunday of the month, November 28th, at the Bell, at 12 noon.
